Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table,
At which he's fed.
Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.
Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.
Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries
Tax his tears.
Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.
Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid...
Put these words
Upon his tomb,
Taxes drove me
to my doom...'
When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY? Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What in the hell happened?
Think about it
Ben..
In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.........

inspiration
Good day, America. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of
every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquility of
repetition. I enjoy them as much as anybody. But in the spirit of
commemoration, thereby those important events of the past usually
associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody
struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, I thought we could mark
this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by
taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little
chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak.Because
while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will
always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for
those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is,
there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there?
Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you
had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now
have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and
soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well
certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will
be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for
the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you do it. I
know you are afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There are
a myriad of problems which conspire to corrupt your reason and rob you
of your common sense. Fear is getting the best of you, and in your
panic you turn to the government. They promise you order, they promise
you peace, and all they demanded in return was your silent, obedient
consent. Last night I sought to remind this country of what it has
forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to
embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to
remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than
words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes
of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you
allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I
see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I
ask you to, this November fifth or before, go to
www.newindependencehall.com and sign the new declaration of
independence, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that
shall never, ever be forgot.
Yours truly,
Ben Franklin

illegal aliens
I have recently encountered a few young men speaking the Spanish language. One of my fellow Americans told me the were illegal. I asked him how they were illegal, in my mind i was thinking maybe bank robbers. He explained to me that it is illegal to come to America. This country was founded by people who came here whether it be legally or illegally. i do however agree that there should be a way of registering the good folks coming to be free. Every one is equal and will pay the same taxes. Why is it that people have to come against the law? "Give us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses longing to be free..." where do i remember seeing that? OH YEAH!!! on the statue of liberty.. the statue of what??? LIBERTY!! EVERY ONE IS ENTITLED TO IT!!
If you know anyone who is illegal have them register and pay there taxes. If the law cannot do this the way it was intended to be done the law needs to change.

Big Business is good for America!
Small business is equally important for Americas future. Big businesses provide jobs and they keep the economy flowing healthily. However, big business shouldn't be so big that it crushes small business under its weight. How do we ensure business doesn't get too big? I am contemplating the idea of tax handicaps. What I mean by that is, if there are several companies competing for the same customer base, the company that is NOT winning the competition should get a tax break, the tax reduction should be determined by the distance between the leader of the competition and the company in last place. Give small business a break so that they can survive the competition. On the opposite end, do not penalize big business for being successful. Big business pays there taxes as normal. The small businesses receiving the tax breaks can use that savings to grow their business. This way we encourage small business growth and at the same time increase jobs and the flow of tax dollars will keep the economy healthy. There is one problem, for this to work we must not import from companies that left the United States, Do not do business with these companies until they return to the United States. They must learn that Americans will not do business with companies that took jobs to other countries. We Americans are in this boat together, if we do not find ways to make this nation strong and financially sound then history will tell the story of a once great and proud nation that like all great nations and empires before it, fell to complacency and greed.

A quote from a friend.
The tree of liberty must be
Refreshed from time to time with the blood of
Patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson
Let me talk about this for just a moment. What my friend is saying is that no one is technically given freedom or born free. every now and then you have to earn your freedom. It is in our nature (human) to desire control, fame, or wealth. With this drive to be on the top of the food chain we as people often suppress one another to gain our goals. Well this runaway government has effectively suppressed my freedom and yours. maybe its time to refresh the tree of liberty and earn our freedom.
Ben Franklin,
ps. let me leave you with a thought.......
A great empire, like a great cake, is most easily diminished at the edges.
